As a kid in Washington DC, Will Slocombe consumed early 90s sports movies, mid 80s science docs, and late 70s political thrillers like it was his job. Fast-forward to present day Los Angeles, Will has turned that childhood passion and work ethic into a full-blown career.
Will made his directorial debut with the hit indie Crime Fiction, which premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival, and was celebrated by Variety as “intriguing” and “Hitchcockian.” Cold Turkey starred Peter Bogdanovich and Cheryl Hines, and was included in the Best Movies of the Year by New York Magazine. The Escort hit #2 on iTunes in the UK and was sold into series development at MTV. He has directed documentaries on AC Milan star Vero Boquete, and on the rebuilding of basketball courts in Los Angeles. Will’s branded clients include Amazon, GM, Hertz, Facebook, Ritz Crackers, and Real Madrid.
But more than anything, Will loves watching movies with his two kids. And yes, the 80s science docs are still in heavy rotation.
